Well, it’s a new year. And with it I promise to try to post more stuff. But no promises that it will be anything important. Hmm.

You can ignore this post, piggies, since it’s just a test of posting via the blog API that Drupal provides. If this works out, maybe I’ll start posting more crappy content more often. Or maybe I won’t.

Last night / way too early this morning I finished putting the Drupal version of the site in to production and upgraded it to the latest released version. Hooray!

I've just finished making the first revision of two modules for Drupal.

It looks like I might be about half way done with conversion from php-nuke 8.1 to drupal 6.9. The initial conversion wasn't so bad either.

We've been using PHP-Nuke for a long, long time. For years I've been meaning to move away from it due to countless security issues, poor code, and slow development of it. It's been a decent ride, though. I've easily created several modules and blocks, but as time has gone on, the obviousness of needing to change to something else has become increasingly apparent.

Do you like candy? Do you like bacon? Do you think bacon is meat candy? We here at pigfucker.net certainly do. And that's why we created the "bacon is meat candy" black t-shirt on Cafepress and just now added more (non-black) clotheing choices to the first pigfucker.net Cafepress shop. And we've created a new shirt and shop for the "got bacon?" merch.
